1905. "It was a time when houses were lit with oil lamps and when, in summer, cooking was done on small charcoal stoves, when the stagecoach and its two horses, driven for years and years by Père Simon, and then Baptiste and Mercier, operated a shuttle service between Roissy and Villiers-le-Bel's station; it was the time of bronze sous, le francs and Louis d'or.
