At Our Zoos
We have been caring for snow leopards for over 100 yearsmore than 80 cubs have been born and raised at the Bronx Zoo. We're proud to continue the tradition here at the Central Park Zoo.
In The Wild
We've been a leader in studying snow leopards and continue to protect them through the work we do today.
Kyrgyzstan
We train local rangers on how to better monitor snow leopards and enforce anti-poaching efforts.
Mongolia
We partner with other organizations to develop new ways to monitor snow leopards.
Afghanistan, Pakistan, China and Tajikistan
We collaborate with national governments to protect borders and the places near them that snow leopards regularly cross.
Pakistan
Through training and education programs, we advise local communities on how they can protect their snow leopard populations.
China
We conduct yearly training courses in China on how to monitor snow leopards and prevent poaching on reserves.
