Children's Garden
Since 1914, children of all ages have used the Children's Garden as a living classroom to explore the natural world with hands-on activities. Every year, thousands of participants in many different programs cultivate this garden.
The youngest gardeners dig in the soil, plant seeds, harvest vegetables, and prepare meals from their bounty. Older children and teenagers pursue scientific research, maintain garden beds, and apply best practices in horticulture.
