Cambridge in Dorchester County, Maryland — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Shoal Creek
Shoal Creek was once a 378-acre plantation boasting a three-story, brick manor house whose owners included john Woolford and Gov. Charles Goldsborough. The 16-room dwelling survived until 1970, accumulating tales of hauntings, secrete passages, and buried treasure during its 200-year-existence.
This antique farm equipment was discovered during the construction of the golf course and was once part of the original plantation.
