Inscription. The Giant Seesaw was but one attraction of the midway, Vanity Fair, whose exotic pleasures were fashioned after 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. The seesaw vaulted 40 peopic 200 feet in the air for a spectacular overview of the Exposition's broad pleasures. Vanity Fair's visitors sampled food and drink from around the globe and visited attractions such as the Cuban and Chinese villages and a Colorado gold mine. On the Streets of Cairo they could ride a camel and observe "an Arabian belle who danced 'the hoocheecoochee.'"
