The National Won Jeon Shrine, hosted by the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, is a monument to cherish and honor those who have ascended to the heavenly spiritual world attending our Tree Parents as members of the Blessed Central Families of the Completed Testament Age.
The Seung Hwa ceremony ("peaceful ascension,") is the commencement of one's life as an exclusively spiritual being. The burial service is referred to as the Won Jeon Ceremony ("returning home to the palace").
This site was sanctified on May 14, 2002, blessed on July 26, 2002, and dedicated on October 9, 2003 by the National Headquarters.
"Fresh bouquets of happiness grow, gently tossed in the breeze; Our home eternal and true is a haven of joy; Here in such beauty divine, we shall always live; Such is the gift of the Lord, Father's heavenly land."
