Portada barroca

flanking the twin access gates are identified by their twisted helical shafts, sometimes covered with vegetal decoration, which produces an effect of movement and drama. It evokes the belief that this would have been the columns of Solomon's Temple recorded in biblical texts. The top of the entryways are made up of a triangular pediment with sculptures of the baby Jesus.
