Expedicionario filantropo y naturalista de origen alemán, considerado como “El Padre de la Geografia Moderna Universal”
Realizo para Mexico importantes aportaciones sustantivas al conocimiento cientifico y lucidas descripciones de nuestra naturaleza y cultura, durante el siglo XVIII.

Fue precursor de la espeleologia cientifica para America Latina y constructor del camino de la ciencia a la que hoy llamamos ecologia.

Alexander von Humboldt
1769-1859
Philanthropist and expeditionary naturalist of German origin, considered as "The Father of Universal Modern Geography."
He made for Mexico important substantive contributions to scientific knowledge and lucid descriptions of our nature and culture, during the eighteenth century.

He was a precursor of scientific speleology for Latin America and a builder of the path of science that we now call ecology.
