1. Built 1921 Marker
Inscription. An alley was on this site from the 1880s until 1921, when H.B. Alexander installed a roof that tied into the two adjoining buildings on each side of the alley and enclosed the front and back. The small, narrow building was the office of T.C. Simmons Insurance from 1921 until 1950. A variety of retail shops have used the space since then.
