Excerpt (in translation): "Chancellor of the Duchy of Württemberg: After studying law at the University of Tübingen, which he completed with a doctorate in law, Andreas Burckhardt entered the service of Duke Eberhard III of Württemberg. In 1648, during his tenure as chancellor, Andreas Burckhardt accompanied Johann Konrad Varnbüler to Münster and Osnabrück for the negotiations on the conditions for ending the Thirty Years' War, which were ratified in the treaty agreements, the Treaties of the Peace of Westphalia."
