Additional commentary.
1. Marker is on private property.
As I was hunting for the Boone's Lick D.A.R. markers, I noticed one was in someone's front yard. I pulled into the driveway (it was my only choice as there was no shoulder on the road where people likely go 65 mph). The owner of the property was in his yard and waved at me, and I said I wanted to photograph and video the marker. He said yes and was very nice about it. He asked me if I knew where all the other similar markers were and I told him that I had a map based on research from the Boone's Lick Road Association website. He would also recommend that I buy a book about the Boone's Lick Road at a nearby shop in nearby Warrenton. This is just simple advice for those who wish to visit the marker, in case the same happens.
