Regarding Davault Tavern - 1828. From the Boone's Lick Road Association's website: The icon is nearly on the N-S half-section line in section 27, township 48N, range 5W and precisely locates the D.A.R. marker for the Davault tavern. This is thought to have also been the approximate location of Williamson's stage stop. The icon is on the north edge of the southeast quarter of section 27. Notice the present-day Booneslick Road on the north side of I-70.
