Baron Stiegel's Tower
In the year 1769 Henry William Stiegel, a Lancaster County iron master, glass manufacturer and school teacher built a castle or tower for the purpose of entertaining friends. The tower was constructed of wood in the shape of a pyramid, being 50 feet square at the base, ten feet square at the top and 75 feet in height.
Erected 1960 by Heidelberg Lions Club.
