Inscription. Mandisa Hundley earned her Bachelors degree in vocal performance from Fisk University where she was a member of the Jubilee Singers. In 2006, she was a finalist on FOX's American Idol. After the Idol tour, she was signed by Sparrow Records. Her debut album, "True Beauty" became the only female debut to hit No. 1 in the history of Billboard's Christian Retail Chart and received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album.
