Inscription. The CCC reshaped lives, both on and off the job. Each day began with reveille at 6:00 AM and ended with lights out at 10:00 PM Everything had a time and place including meals, education, recreation, and the fondly-remembered antics of young men at camp.
"...we'd hose the mess down, then strap brushes to our feet and skate around like we was ice skating."
George Nicholson, CCC alumnus, Camp SP-15.

New Outlook
Living at a CCC camp meant close quarters with 200 men of diverse backgrounds. Each day included intensive physical labor, hearty meals, and sound sleep. The experience brought impoverished young men to find an attitude of gratefulness and satisfaction.
"...the CCC helped me grow up. It gave me hope, opportunity and a sense of pride."
LaVerne J. Livengood, CCC Alumnus, Camp SP-15.
