This private home is a Queen Ann Victorian style house built in 1898, at a cost of $5,000. The home features fish scale shingles, stained glass windows, a two story turret with witches hat roof, gingerbread trim, two inside stairways, a personal ice house, a windmill, a carriage house, and a hitching post for horses.

Originally lighted by gas, this home was the second residence in town to have a telephone, the second home to be electrified in 1923, and the first home in Ocean County to have an automobile. The large front parlor was used only on Sundays. At its peak, thirteen servants catered to the owners.

Erected 2006 by Stafford Township Historic Preservation commission, Mayor Carl W. Block and the Stafford Township Council; installed as part of the Troop 65 Eagle Scout Project by Jerry S. Gambino.
