1. Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Marker
Inscription. After the Lighthouse was moved to this spot in 1913, it continued to guide mariners and replaced by a steel tower with an automated beacon in 1964. When the State of New Jersey leased the Lighthouse to the City of North Wildwood in 1986 the Lighthouse tower was illuminated again. It was included on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
