Veterans Memorial Park
The park gives special recognition and tribute to those American servicemen and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice of their lives, their liberty and their pursuit of happiness in order that others may be free.
The park is an ongoing effort supported by local veteran and civic organizations, businesses, citizens, the Town of Abingdon and Washington County, Virginia.
Veterans Memorial Park Foundation of Abingdon/Washington County, VA, Inc., a 501(3)c non-profit foundation, oversees the design, development and funding of Veterans Memorial Park.
