Univ.-Prof. Dr. Erwin Ringel (1921 bis 1994) war nach Sigmund Freud und Alfred Adler einer der bedeutendsten Psychiater und Tiefenpsychologen seiner Zeit, der unsere „österreichische Seele" erforschte und therapierte. Er arbeitete hier am Alsergrund und hat 1948 das erste Selbstmordverhütungszentrum Europas aufgebaut.

Professor Erwin Ringel (1921-1994) was, after Sigmund Freud and Alfred Adler, one of the most important psychiatrists and psychologists of his time, who both explored and treated our "Austrian soul". He worked here at Alsergrund, and in 1948 instituted the first suicide prevention center in Europe.
