1. Garage 1936 Marker

Inscription. With the creation of the Tybee Road in 1923, the automobile came to Tybee Island. This meant that the keepers could have a vehicle to help them work and move around the island more freely than before. With the addition of the automobile came the need for a garage.

The restoration was completed in 1998.
