The battery is represented by a 12-pdr Howitzer and a 6-pdr Iron smoothbore.

3. 12-pdr Field Howitzer Model 1841
This particular howitzer was among the first batch of the Model 1841 type produced by Ames Manufacturing (at the time headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts). The registry number 6 and the inspector initials of "W.M." indicate this piece was produced in 1841 and inspected by William Maynadier.
