The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church with this planting commemorates and honors the
80th Anniversary of Presbyterian Women in Cuba

Founded in 1927 by missionary Edith McHouston of Lexington, Virginia, celebrated in Camajuani, Cuba on April 13, 2007 with the planting of a tree in her honor by the Union Nacional de Mujeres Presbiterianas Reformadas en Cuba

Gracias a dios por el hermanamiento de la Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana Reformada de La Habana y the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church

Together a symbol in our nations' capitals of peace, reconciliation, and love
