Inscription.
Do you recognize the Trona Pinnacles from more than a dozen hit movies? Over thirty film projects a year are shot among the tufa pinnacles, including backdrops for car commercials and sci-fi movies such as Star Trek V, The Gate II, and Planet of the Apes. That's not all. The northern tufa cluster holds yet another claim to fame. The 200 pinnacles in this group are distinguished as a National Natural Landmark.

Because of their unique features, many commercials and films have been shot at Trona Pinnacles.
