1. Welcome to West Covington Park Marker

Inscription. Previously an underutilized industrial area, West Covington Park has been transformed into clean, public green space for all of Baltimore and its visitors to enjoy. It is now part of an extensive public park system planned for Port Covington, an area of South Baltimore that is being redeveloped by the City and Sagamore Development Company. All are welcome at West Covington Park and encourage to experience and respect the wildlife, natural landscape, trails, pier and overlooks, here on the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River.
