1. Hippocrates' Platanus (Sycamore) Marker
This tree was grown from a seed of the Tree of Hippocrates, 5th century B.C., that still exists on the Greek Island of Cos. The seed was germinated in the Druid Hill Conservatory in Baltimore and the sapling planted here on October 21, 1981.
