This battery was engaged here from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. April 7, 1862.

This regulation 12-pdr Field Howitzer was cast by N.P. Ames of Massachusetts in 1846. It has the registry number 31 stamped on the muzzle.

4. 3.67-inch Rifled 6-pdr Field Gun
Produced in 1862 by William D. Marshall & Co. of St.Louis, Missouri, this field gun used the form of the Model 1841 6-pdr. But it was produced with 7 groove rifling. The gun weighs 884 pounds.
