He lived in Philadelphia until the age of 19 when he traveled West to Lancaster and built a house on a spring close to this location.
Ulrich's original house has been saved thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of Phyllis Reaver Unger, a direct descendent of Ulrich Rieber, and LCSWMA who moved the house to its current location and restored it for adaptive reuse.
