1. In Ho Oh Marker
Inscription.
On Apr. 25, 1958 this Penn graduate student mailed a letter at 26 & Hamilton Sts, to his parents in Seoul, Korea. …Moments later 8 hoodlums, ages 15-20, bludgeoned him to death. Why? For 35 cents in change.

Oh's parents urged that leniency & forgiveness be shown to their son's murderers.

"It is our desire to establish a fund to rehabilitate the youths."

The family requested In Ho Oh be buried in a Presbyterian graveyard.

His tombstone testifies to Oh's family expression of forgiveness & mercy.

Erected by Friends of Old Pine.
