1. Chuck Berry Marker
Inscription. Chuck Berry was born in St. Louis, MO and attended Sumner High School. Berry is one of the most influential figures and pioneers of rock and roll music with hits such as Maybelline and Johnny B. Good. Dubbed as the "Eternal Teenager", Berry broke color barriers while playing for integrated audiences. Berry was the first person inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the first person inducted into St. Louis Walk of Fame.
