1. Representative Wyvetter Younge Marker
Inscription. Representative Younge was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her B.S. from Hampton University, Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Saint Louis University School of Law and her masters of law from Washington University. Representative Younge became the first African American female to be elected to the Illinois General Assembly in 1975.
