Inscription. The city of Mission Viejo honors Megan M. McClung who died December 6, 2006 during Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving in the United States Marine Corps, I Marine Expeditionary Forces Headquarters Group. She will be remembered as a hometown hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for her country.
