This plaque was dedicated on the occasion of the 145th anniversary on September 11, 1992 and unveiled by Mr. H. G. Ouwerkerk, Mayor of Groningen

History (in translation): The Association was founded on March 29, 1847 and aims to promote socio-economic contacts between members on the one hand and members and third parties on the other, who play a decisive role in the economic activities of the Northern Netherlands, and to participate in discussions that concern an economic interest, in particular the economic interest of the Northern Netherlands. Activities towards this goal include organizing discussions, lectures and other meetings.
