1. Oriskany-Helderberg Marker
Inscription. The massive sandstone in the quarry is the Oriskany and the limestone below it is the Helderberg of the driller and geologist. The Oriksany Sand, an important gas sand, has produced in excess of a trillion cubic feet of gas in West Virginia.
