Baluarte de San Ignacio o de los Cestones sobre los testigos de la obra de Cristóbal de Roda y Fco. de Murga 1623-31. Juan de Herrera levanto el baluarte actual a partir de 1.721. Era uno de los mas expuestos a los insultos del enemigo y defendia con sus fuegos la Bahia de las Animas.

English translation:
Bastion of San Ignacio or the Baskets on the witnesses of the work of Cristóbal de Roda and Fco. de Murga 1623-31. Juan de Herrera built the current bastion from 1721. He was one of the most exposed to the insults of the enemy and he defended the Bahía de las Animas with his fires.
