Antiguo canal de piedra
Este es un remanente de una obra de ingeniería hidráulica en la época Colonial, que sirvió para la conducción de agua superficial, construido con basalto (roca volcánica). Por su técnica y materiales de construcción, el canal puede ser fechado para el siglo XVIII.

Este vestigio antiguo fue descubierto durante una investigación arqueológica efectuada en el año 2007 en el área que actualmente ocupa el Hotel Camino Real, siendo restaurado en agosto 2012 para su conservación.

Ancient Channel of Stone
This is the remnant of some hydraulic engeneering work from the colonial era, which was used to capture surface water. The structure was made of basalt (volcanic rock). Based on its design and materials used for construction, the ancient channel can be dated back to the eighteenth century.

This old vestige was discovered during archaeological research that was carried out in 2007. The area, currently occupied by the Hotel Camino Real, is being restored and preserved from August
