Excerpt (in translation): In Brindisi he was a carpenter and in 1927 he was sentenced to 3 years' imprisonment by the Special Court on charges of having distributed leaflets signed "Communist Party of Italy". Then, from 1921 to 1932, he was confined to Lipari. He then moved to Milan, where he found work at Pirelli; here he was an active participant in the strikes of March 1944. For this he was arrested and deported to the concentration camps.(Submitted on March 19, 2023.)
