1. Dog Netting Fence Marker
Inscription. This plaque was erected by the Whycheproof Shire Council to commemorate the construction in 1885, of a fence from Tyntynder to the South Australian border, a distance of 204 miles, to prevent wild dogs and other vermin from entering farm lands to the South. A remnant of the original fence is incorporated in this memorial.
