Swan Or Goose?
Its name might be confusing but this large goose is named for its long, swan-like neck.

Vegetarian Goose
The swan goose often grazes on land, feeding exclusively on plants. Farmers sometimes use the domesticated form of this goose for weeding their crops.

Range: Russia, Mongolia and China
Habitat: Floodplains, marshy meadows, riverbeds, steppes and mountainous areas

Status: Threatened
Although swan geese were once at an endangered status, their population is still vulnerable to habitat loss and unsustainable levels of hunting.
