1. Bringing Life to Water Marker
Inscription. Of Carl Milles's many water creatures, this is considered his best and was his favorite. The Nereid (sea nymph) sparkles with youth and life, storming ahead on a dolphin. In ancient Greek ark, Nereids were represented riding sea creatures and, according to legend, would come to the aid of mariners in distress.
