1. Medicinal Herbs Marker
Inscription. For thousands of years, healers have used herbs to cure illness. Recently, scientists have examined these healing plants for effective new medicines. Compounds extracted from various herbs have gained significant importance and acceptance in the treatment of various diseases. Foxglove (Digitalis pupurea) is used for treating heart disease, and periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) is formulated to treat various cancers, including leukemia. Continued research is likely to result in even more pharmaceutical products.
