Going West
By Devry Becker Jones (CC0), March 26, 2023
Daniel Boone was an explorer who "blazed trails" for colonists on their way west. Many people formed settlements along the trails. In 1799, Daniel led his family to Missouri. When asked why he left Kentucky, he replied, "Too many people! I want more elbow room!"
