2. Ghana Broadcasting Corporation at Wikipedia. The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation was founded on January 1, 1953 and was preceded by the earlier colonial-era Gold Coast Broadcasting Corporation founded in 1935. Dr. Graham DuBois did not arrive in Ghana until 1961, so the marker appears to be in error in that she was a founding director. She was however appointed director of Ghana Television in 1965 but was ousted after the 1966 coup that toppled Nkrumah's government.
She left Ghana soon after for Egypt. (Submitted on April 2, 2023.)
