1. College Church Marker
Inscription. Organized by Presbyterian settlers in 1836. Church building erected 1844-46 on land bought from N. Miss. College. Church and vicinity occupied by some 30,000 Union troops Dec., 1862. Wm. Faulkner married here, 1929.
 
Erected 1961 by Mississippi Department of Archives and History.

3. College Hill Presbyterian Church (damaged)
The sanctuary was heavily damaged by fire in August, 2022. Although firefighters were able to save the church's 180-year-old Bible, everything else inside was destroyed. According to subsequent news reports, investigators have ruled out arson as the cause and church officials intend to rebuild the local landmark.
