Inscription.
A caring and dedicated teacher, Professor Owen developed programs for Behavioral Science internships, Gerontology, Long-Term Care Administration, and Therapeutic Recreation. She served with distinction as Department Chair (1966-1969), and as Academic Senate President (1971-1972). Her scholarly achievements and interests in aging led to her appointment to the Governor's Regional Council on Aging, and to the establishment of the York College Elder Fair.
