1. City Cemetery Marker
Inscription. Earliest evidence of Corinth's settlement. Oldest cemetery in city with first burial dated 1842. The city owned the site from 1874 to 1940 when deeded to City Cemetery Association, endowed by Shelby H. Curlee.
 
Erected 1987 by Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
