Regarding Stone From Maj Gen Henry Madill House. Pvt Silas Gore Camp 141, SUVCW, worked to save the Henry Madill House near Wysox PA and move it to a location near his burial place in Wysox Cemetery. Madill was the highest ranking Bradford County Civil War veteran, with distinguished service during the war. Unfortunately, the high cost to move the house proved too difficult in a county will limited population and commercial enterprises to support the effort.
