1. Old Fountain Head Meeting House Marker
Inscription. Near this spot stood Old Fountain Head Meeting House of the Methodist Episcopal Church. here the Tennessee Conference held its first session in 1812. Bishops Asbury and KcKendree presided.

Near here Bishop McKendree lived and was buried. Later his body was moved to the Vanderbilt University campus.
