The regiment was commanded by Colonel Rufus P. Neely during the battle.

Stewart's (2d) Brig., Clark's (1st) Div., Polk's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This regiment supported Bankhead's Battery from 12 m. to 1 p.m. April 6, 1862.
