Captain John Roach Butler transported supplies to Zachary Taylor at Point Isabel (Fort Taylor). He retired as Port Captain for Brazos Santiago and was a surveyor for Lloyds of London with a group that was granted a second railroad charter in the Rio Grande delta. Spanish:
