1. German Methodist Episcopal Church Marker
Inscription. 1830's – Ger. immigrants began setting in Lawrenceburgh.
1839 – Congregation formed. Like many other early church groups they met in the old Methodist Episcopal Meeting House erected in 1821 on Walnut Street where the Liedertafel Hall now stands. For over 20 years they rented halls around town for their services.
1860 – Permanent house of worship constructed.
1927 – Became lodge hall for The Fraternal Order of Eagles until 1976.
1977 – Acquired by Peoples National Bank (now Star), used for storage.
1992 – Converted to Zerbe Law Offices.
Greek Revival style Notice stone tablet in gable.
 
Erected by Historic Lawrenceburgh Foundation.
